About the Instructors

April Albright started her love of dance and movement when she was just 3 years old with gymnastics. At 5, she fell in love with dance. As she grew, she learned tap, ballet, clogging and has not stopped dancing and learning since. She's traveled all over the world dancing and learning from others. "Dance is a form of self-expression, just like any other art form, and I like to bring that experience to others and broaden their exposure to the arts."  Dance was always a big part of the community April grew up in, "everyone went to dance!", she explains. In 2007, April started her first dance studio called You Should Be Dancing. "I want to give kids and adults the opportunity to find the fun in dance."
